We’re delighted to announce that Butterfly your thyroid diary app will be moving to an open beta test in the UK and Ireland at the start of June, and North America in September.
This means that thousands more people will be able to use Butterfly to manage medication, monitor symptoms and track their progress to live a healthier life.
Looking after your thyroid health
Did you know that it’s estimated that 300 million people worldwide are affected by a thyroid condition?
Hypothyroidism alone affects 15 in every 1,000 women and 1 in 1,000 men, and due to a severe lack of research and understanding, thyroid conditions continue to be difficult to diagnose and manage.
Here at Salubrious, we believe that this situation needs to be changed and a new way of looking after thyroid health is needed. Together, we’re aiming to change the way people think about thyroid and adrenal health so that everyone from health practitioners and researchers to family and friends play an active role too.
Butterfly gathers data about your medication, symptoms, lab work, diet and fitness so that you can make informed decisions on your health and lifestyle.
Inspired by you
We couldn’t have come this far without you! Your innovative ideas, feature requests, feedback on design and general encouragement drives every aspect of our work.
We’re blown away by the positive feedback we’ve received from our current beta test users over the last few months. It’s great to see that the app is making a real difference, and we’re working hard to get Butterfly out to more people.
As such, we’ve published our roadmap so that you can see what we’re working on, and what we have in the pipeline. You can also add your own comments or suggestions, and vote up your favourite features so that we can get to them quicker.
Many of you continue to ask why there isn’t an Android version yet, so here’s an article explaining about that — please bear with us!
Check your inbox
We’ll be emailing 2,000 people over the next couple of weeks to inform them they can start using the open beta, so be sure to check your inbox — and spam folder!
In the meantime, get in touch with us if you have any questions.
Thanks so much for your continued support!
